which the whole land of Havilah where there is gold and the gold of that land is good Then in Greek mythology is the stor story of Jasons Jason's quest of the Golden Fleece And the lost mines of King Solomon are still being sought These citations lead to only one opinion Like the use of fire tire and the love of adornment the impulse to mine min for the precious metals Is an element elemental elemental al urge which distinguishes the human from all other animals So there is an inborn fascination a charm to mining adventure ad that no other occupation can bestow The more complex and Interdependent interdependent interdependent inter inter- dependent the social order becomes the more dependent it is upon a wider and larger use of the metals John Marshalls Marshall's discovery of gold on Sutter Creek in California in 1848 stampeded the adventurous men of every land to the Golden West The same spirit of pioneering marked the discovery of th the old Arrowhead now the Uncle Dim
