Show Cedar Boys Leaving For Military Camp Tuesday j jOn o On the evening train next Tuesday the local Unit of the National Guard Battery F Field Artillery will leave lea for Camp W. W G. G Williams at Jordan Narrows Utah where 15 days will be spent in military train train- ing Considerable rable equipment has been blen received and Thursday four French 76 75 Field Pieces arrived and were un loaded One gun was left in front of the Post Office for the afternoon and many of the local people had their ther first look at this gun This is the gun which became famous during during during dur dur- ing the late war Tents blank blankets ts mess kits and several delicate instruments instruments ments such as telescopes range finders find find- finders ers etc have also been received Thursday afternoon June 24 2 willbe willbe will willbe be Governors Governor's day at the camp at Jordan Narrows and all citizens of Cedar City are arc invited to spend the day there and see the local boys in action Any persons going north at that time should make it a point to stop at the camp Cars going north should leave the main road at Lehland Lehi Lehl and cars coming south from Salt Lake should take the Redwood road south The Orem railroad will also take visitors to the camp Mr A.
