A Murdock of Milford addressed address address- ed the meeting and gave the members mem mem- bars bers an enjoyable ten minutes Ernest Winkler assistant to the Chief Forester in charge of the Forest Forest Forest For For- est service He pointed out that the grazing on the forest reserves was being on account of lack of system and management and the g ervice was mach headway yn in i but needed d w danger the cooperation of the stockmen to tomake tomake tomake make their activities more successful He also stated that the Forest was greatly stocked over with deer and that the forest service had hai made arrangements arrangements' to have some o of these thes deer removed but not enough to bring the number down to a point that would insure feed for those re re- re He stated also that there was a possibility of hunting being slowed al sl- al owed this fall in certain parts of the forest well away from the traveled roads Miss Woodhouse favored the meeting meeting meeting meet meet- ing with a Piano selection Militaire by Chopin and Mr Reed Jones played The Lost Chord on the Trombone Both selections were wen well rendered and much appreciated appreciate by those present The next Luncheon of the Chamber will be held Monday at 1215 and a large attendance is desired as a gooc good program will be rendered and Mr Amos the new traffic manager manager man man- ager will be present and there is ts much important business to be brought before the meeting t n oo |
