J Doolittle introduced ed Mr Winder Wi the State organizer of the Farm Bureau Mr Winder gave a most interesting talk on the w work rk I of the farm bureau in general but butmore butmore more particularly applied to southern Utah He lie plead for cooperation of the people of the state explaining the need of a bureau to help in the marketing marketing mar mar- k ting problems confronting the farm er Mr Winder stated that the big problem now confronting the bureau was the question of supply of agricultural agricultural tural He explained thatto that te to bureau was now working on a plan whereby the farmer would be able to get accurate information as aa to the I crops to raise which he could sell ata at a profit without finding as has been he bureau was now working on a plan over supplied with his particular lin linof tin line of product Mr Doolittle than announced that the plans for the banquet of the Chamber of Commerce on March was well under way and the committees corns com were reporting a great pro pro- gress He stated that the banquet must not be confused with the opening of the hotel as this was strictly a Chamber of Commerce banquet lie He also stated that the admission would be per plate including dancing Mr Doolittle then read an announcement an an- announcement from Mrs hs Kumen lumen Jones that a meeting would be held at the meeting house on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock p p. p m m. m for the purpose of stimulating the growing of or flowers and trees He urged all present to get their wives to this meeting The main subject discussed was the attitude of the Department of the Interior In In- tenor toward school lands Mr 1 Wm R R.
