Show I I ECONOMIC u CLun CLUB HAS liAS 1 GRAND GRAND' TIME IE oo 00 One of the social events of the season was given ghen by the Home Economics Club New j Years Year's Eve in the form of a supper sup sup- per show and dance The fun began at the Junior High auditorium at 8 o'clock M when the people were served to hot butter and crackers the ladies made caps for their partners part part- ners hers out of colored paper then followed a march singing and dancing At 9 30 they adjourned to the B. B A. A C. C dining rooms where they were served to sand sand- 4 witches chicken cranberry sauce and pickles The rooms r were decorated in tn Christmas colors colors col cot ors and the tables with red and green candles They were then taken to the College auditorium where a clever clev clev- er one act play was given by Mrs Lehi Leh Thorley Mrs J. J H H. Maughan Mrs J John hn U. U Webster Web Web- ster arid and Mrs Warren Bulloch a solo by Jack Wright reading by Mrs J. J A. A Young and singing by the girls chorus under the direction of Mrs Webster Leigh i Again they were escorted to the tho V f t dining room where they were served se served ed to coffee coca mince pie x and cheese The remainder of the time was spent in dancing At 12 o'clock the New Year was ushered in by the tooting of ti horns which had been distributed distributed ted to the crowd by the commit tee Music was furnished byi by i f i the B.
