Show ANNUAL DAY A SUCCESS 00 Relief Relle Society Annual Day of 1923 will long linger in the memories of all NY who ho enjoyed the days day's festivities There Thero was an attendance of two hundred hun hun- hundred dred and fifty at the afternoon pro pro- gram Excellent musical numbers were furnished under the direction of Mr McCarty Mrs Helen Foster and Misses Alice and Roma Fost Fost- er Readings that pleased everyone were given by Miss l Bertha Horton and Mrs Mary Billingsly Sentiments Sentiments Sentiments Senti Senti- ments relative to Relief Society work were given by Mrs Mrs' Amy Brown and Mrs Nellie Thornton The fun began when Mr Lafe McConnell McConnell Mc- Mc Connell Cornell acting as aa auctioneer sold mysterious packages to the highest bidders under his skilful suggestions Rivalry was keen and prices mounted 1 for the tho packages that seemed to hold the greatest value There was usually usually us us- a round of laughter when the packages were opened Nearly 30 dollars was raised in this way to be donated to the Tabernacle At the conclusion of the program program program pro pro- gram refreshments were served |
