P OFFICIALS I ABOARD MET B BY fA MAYOR PARLEY DALLEY AND NUM NUl EROUS PROMINENT PRO CITI 4 ZENS 00 At last Jast the dream of the citizens C of Southern Utah and particularly of df f C Cedar ar City are now realized For forty years or more the people have Jave hoped for prayed for and de demanded demanded demanded de- de that a railroad into Cedar City be built and this ha has happened when hopes were well nigh It remained for the Union Pacific to bring to pass the dream of the people and they are very appreciative tive of what has been done by the various carious officials who hav for or years visited this section and planned for forthe forthe forthe the thing that has bas just a railroad into the section of f Utah that contains more scenic beauty to the square mile roUe than any other portion por per tion of the intermountain West And the first train to reach the ex ex- em emYe Ye lt to which h p point the rails jha had h er been n laid was the M de Brabant special on board of which were ver M M. deBrabant Bra de bant traffic manager T T. T C. C Peck general passenger agent N. N A. A Williams Williams Wil liams general superintendent Mr Prescot traveling g agent R. R L.
