Show i i LOCAL ITEMS j ! OF INTEREST I Mrs. Albert Swain and son, Dun, I w.-re here from McGill for a short I visit at the home of Mr. ami Mrs. Gw.re Swain, Sunday. Thy w-nt to Mt. Ph-usant and later returned to their home at N'evadu. Mr. and Mrs. V. A. Malmsten of Richfield, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. II. Vhit-lenburg Vhit-lenburg Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. LaBarth Fjeldsted came .in from Helper last week-end to spend two weeks or more visiting visit-ing relatives and friends. Mr. Fjeldsted Fjeld-sted was a teacher in the schools at Helper during the past winter. Ward Swain and F. W. Boyd, of Ibapah, Utah, were Gunnison visitors Monday. They were guests at the home of Mr, and Mrs. George Swain while in the city. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Lundeberg of Panguitch, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lundeberg of Salt Lake, were guests of Mrs. C. 0. Lundeberg and Miss Erma Lundeberg Saturday and Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Wesley Duggins and daughters, daugh-ters, Deon and Audrey, left for Salt Lake City Wednesday. They will visit vis-it with relatives and friends until the end of the month. Mrs.; JMaon vvniarason, Elaine and Richard Willardson, came in from Los Angeles Sunday. They will be here for a month or so visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Niels Larson, parents of Mrs. Willardson. Mrs. Paul Streeper and sons, Jay and Kent, of Salt Lake, are here this week for a visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Jensen. The visitors will return Friday and will be accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Jensen. Ernest Halverson, the insurance representative, spent Friday and Saturday Sat-urday in Gunnison visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. 0. H. Halverson, Halver-son, and attending to his professional profession-al business. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Larson and children of Manti, spent Tuesday in Gunnison, visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Nielson.'. Mrs. V. A. Talboe and son, of Pro-i Pro-i vo, who visited for several days at t the A. M. Peterson home, returned i north Sunday, and were accompanied . by Mr. and Mrs. Peterson. ! Mr. and Mrs. James Bown and Mr. s and Mrs. Fred H. Jones were motor 3 travelers to Salt Lake Monday, and after looking over business matters ; they returned home Tuesday evening. Mrs. M. M. Duggins and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Editha Rosenlund, were motor mo-tor travelers to Bryce canyon Tuesday. Tues-day. After sightseeing in the great natural wonderland for a few hours, I they returned north late in the evening. |
