Bcrglund, stalwart, honest and prominent business man, and influential influ-ential in promoting progression in the Gunnison Valley, the populace lost a valuable business man. Mr. Bcrglund, born in u foreign land, came to America when a mere boy. He saw the opportunities, grew to manhood and soon he availed himself of all, taking advantage in every instance in-stance to advance himself. His career in Gunnison and the Gunnison Valley as a leader, advisor and counselor, placed him foremost among the business busi-ness men, and through his kind and liberal advices, he made a multitude of friends. Not alone was Mr. Berglund a friend to everybody, but his success educationally, and in his business undertakings, un-dertakings, were gained only through hard licks, and he was liberal, giving to the needy, but seeking no laudation. lauda-tion. Climbing from the very lowest step of the ladder, he made headway, head-way, and through his success he became be-came known to large business interests inter-ests and . was widely known in the business and financial world. Gunnison loses, in the death of Mr. Bcrglund, a friend, a staunch booster and a genuine citizen. |
