Show Gunnison Boxers Capture Honors Olaire Tollestrup, Lloyd Olsen and Harry Christiansen, clever ring generals, gen-erals, and who took part at the boxing carnival at Richfield last Friday evening, eve-ning, again gained laurels and incidentally inci-dentally won the plaudits of a large gathering of fans from Southern Utah. All three of the local boxers were matched against fast men, and two of them got decisions as winners, while the third made a draw. Claire Tollestrup, pitted against Rowe Pace, the Wayne county "whirlwind," "whirl-wind," fought six fast rounds, which the referee declared a draw. Pace has carried a reputation as being the "king" in his class, and has several victories tied to his belt, but Tollestrup Tolles-trup gave the powerful boy a big surprise. This fight was the feature bout of the evening. Harry Christiansen, of Centerfield, who is gaining a reputation as one of the fastest of his class in the south, won a decision over Max Herbert of Richfield. The bout was for four rounds, and; never at any time was Christiansen in danger. Max Sly, touted as one of Rich-field's Rich-field's hard hitters, and gifted with considerable science, fell before the punches of Lloyd Olsen of this city. The two boys went four rounds in fast order, and gave the fans some modern ideas as to boxing. Olsen, however, proved the clover one of the pair and won a decision over his opponent. op-ponent.
