Show County Treasurer Gives Tax figures; I Gunnison city's apportionment of delinquent taxes and partial payments, pay-ments, according to figures released by Rudolph Hope, county treasurer, this week, U comparatively low, the report showing Gurmi-on city with' but 18.08. The collections during : October, according to Mr. Hope's re-1 port, will result in a new set-up, due to the heavy receipts. Under the new plan apportionments will be made monthly for the next few months instead in-stead of quarterly, as has been the practice. j A total of $5,18-1.94 is listed to be distributed to thirteen taxing units within the county and twelve state and county funds. Checks were being drawn Friday for forwarding to the respective receivers. A summary of the apportionment as set out by the treasurer follows: Ephraim City, $167.57; Manti City. $1-16.27; Gunnison City, $18.08; Cen-terfield Cen-terfield Town, $78.50; Fail-view City, $15.60; Mayfield Town, $9.71; Mt. Pleasant City, $89.80; Fountain Green City, $12.77; Moroni City. $84.22; Wales Town, $2.37. A total of $1,716.73 is divided among the two school districts, North Sanpete receiving $1,014.27, and South Sanpete schools $702.47. The sum of $2,304.95 listed to the twelve state and county funds is divided di-vided as follows: County general, $345.81; county poor, $54.18; widowed widow-ed mothers, $37.57; county roads, $162.51; interest and redemption of road bonds, $308.04; county fair. $7.13; old age pensions, $16.19; state and state schools, $1,243.53; state roads, $128.05; state bounty fund, $5.38; tubercular indemnity, $7.45, and county general fees, $49.11. |
