G.V.H.S.Graduate j Starring In Sports; Tony Villard, a graduate of the! Gunnison Valley high school, is onej of the backf ield men on the Occiden- j tal college, Los Angeles, football I team which is to play Brigham Young university at Provo, Saturday, September Sep-tember 29. Villard never played football before be-fore going to Oxy, two years ago. He played end on the freshman squad but was shifted to the backfield this fall when four regular backs graduated. He was also a member of the Oxy I basoball team last spring, standing j fourth in team batting. He was a' regular center fielder on the nine which went undefeated and won the Southern California Intercollegiate Conference title.
