Show WILLARD. An Excellent Decoration Day Program A Fisticuff. Decoration Day will, as usual, be celebrated by the good people ol Willard. The program is as follows: People gather at the Tabernacle at 9:30 a. m, They then form into procession under the direction of Win. Beecher and Daniel Woodland, Wood-land, Marshals of the Day, in the following order: Brass Band, City .officials. Choir, Relief Society, Young Men's Association, Asso-ciation, Young Ladies' Association, Primary Assn., followed by citizens citi-zens and vehicles. At 10 a. m., as the band strikes up an appropriate selection, the procession moves toward to-ward the cemetery. On arriving, the order is singing by Choir; Prayer by Chaplain J. J. Chandler; Chand-ler; Singing by Choir; Opening speech by Mayor Low e; Oration by orator of the day, Geo. F. Harding; Hard-ing; Original poem, J. Barker, arranged, especially for the occasion; occa-sion; Tune by Baud. After which the people disperse for the purpose of decorating the graves of then-departed. then-departed. After decorating they form in procession again anil march to the old cemetery, decorate the graves there and disperse to their homes. At 2 p. m. they meet at the Tabernacle, where suitable speakers will entertain them for a short time. This week, J. B. Woodland w as arraigned before Justic Ward on a charge of battery. Mr. Jensen appeared ap-peared for the prosecution and Mr. Rogers of Ogden, for the defendant. Mr. Woodland" pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $10 and cost of court. On May 20th Mr. Woodland, while working on a canal with others, in a fit of passion, pas-sion, struck the plaintiff, Win. Whitaker, son of Jas. Whitaker, on the head with a shovel. Wintek.
