Show Temple Wedding Followed By Fete Howard Childs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Childs, long-time residents resi-dents of Gunnison, has deserted the bachelorhood clan and Thursday of last week he claimed Miss Elsie Olau-son, Olau-son, a charming young woman of Salt Lake, as his life companion. The wedding wed-ding ceremony was performed at the Manti temple and was attended by ihe usual ceremonies at the edifice. Following the marriage the bride and 4-room returned to Gunnison and Thursday evening a splendid wedding supper and reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Childs, narents of the groom. Nineteen in- timate friends and relatives were seated at the wedding supper, and Mr. and Mrs. Childs were the recipients recipi-ents of hearty felicitations and best wishes by those present. Miss Elna Childs, of Provo, was among those from outside points attending the marriage and wedding supper for the newlyweds. The bride is the daughter of Olif "Maiison, prominent at Salt Lake. She was born at Fredrickstad, Norway, and when nine years of age she came to America. She completed her education edu-cation at the schools at Salt Lake and two years ago she entered the Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph Tele-graph company's office as an opera-or, opera-or, serving efficiently. Mr. Childs is widely known in the younger social and church circles in this valley. Some three years ago he went to Sweden where he served two years as a missionary for the Mormon church. Mr. and Mrs. Childs will make Gun-n'son Gun-n'son their home and Mr. Childs will follow farming as a vocation, i |
