Show Associated Clubs, Lions, In Big Meet In conjunction with the regular meeting of the directors and members mem-bers of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah, set for Saturday and Sunday at R'chfield, the Richfield Lions club is staging a "real dish-full" dish-full" of hilarity and entertainment. The two events, both highly important, impor-tant, are expected to draw an unusual unus-ual crowd and the capital of Sevier county will be a busy place during this week-end. The bus'ness sessions for the Associated Asso-ciated Civic clubs will be called at 3 o'clock on the afternoon of Saturday, and at 9 o'clock Sunday morning. There is considerable unfinished business busi-ness to come before the meetings, according ac-cording to Ray E. Carr, secretary. This will be cared for and many new topes will be taken up for discussion and consideration. The Richfield Lions are planning a "roar" for all attending the carnival, set for Saturday. A group of Lions of Richfield, who "know their stuff," will have an unusual line of entertainment. enter-tainment. Side shows, sword swallow-ers, swallow-ers, concessions of all kinds, freak ex-hibit'ons ex-hibit'ons and curiosities, snake charmers, charm-ers, games, art dancers, am what have you, will be on the menu list. This special feature being put on by the Richfield Lions club is for the purpose of raiding funds to make the annual convention of Utah and Idaho L'ons, to be held at Richfield in June, a crowning success. |
