Show Open Season for Quail, Pheasant j In a proclamation issued from the j offices of J. Arthur Mecham, state j fish and game commissioner, dated I October 3, an open season for killing pheasants and quail for certain sections sec-tions of the state has been declared, and is as follows: Pheasants Salt Lake and Utah counties, only, November 3rd to 11th, iboth dates inclusive; Boxelder, Weber, Tooele, Juab, Millard and Sevier counties, coun-ties, only, November 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Only male birds may be legally killed kill-ed and the limit shall not be to exceed ex-ceed two birds per day. Quail Morgan, Weber, Davis, Salt' j Lake, Utah, Sanpete, Sevier and Uin-1 j tah counties, only, November 3rd to ! ! 15th, both dates inclusive; Grand; county, only, November 3rd to 7th in-1 elusive. Provided thai the limit shall not be to exceed twelve birds per day. I Provided that the following des- cribed territory shall be closed and all shooting therein prohibited bv law: Boxelder That portion of Boxelder Boxel-der county lying north and west of the following described line: Beginning Begin-ning at the Blue Creek water tank on j the U. P. R. R. and running thence in 1 in easterly and northeasterly direction along the highway to Penrose, north to Thatcher, northeast to Roweville, and northwesterly to Blue Spring; thence due east to the junction of the Brigham-Malad and Beaver Dam high- ways; thence east along the Beaver j Dam highway to the Collinston bridge j across Bear River; thence up Bear River to the Boxelder-Cache county (line. j .Salt Lake The following described 1 area in Salt Lake county is included in the Big Cottonwood Game Preserve and all shooting therein is prohibited i by law: Beginning at the end of the 1 pavement on the east end of 21st So. i St., thence in a westerly direction, following fol-lowing 21st South to Highland Drive; thence following Highland Drive to 1 72nd South; thence east to 28th East; thence south to 80th South; thence j east to the mouth of Big Cottonwood canyon; thence north to the mouth of Parley's canyon; thence following the main highway to the place of beginning. begin-ning. Beginning at Boulter I on the northern county boundary and following the State highway to where it crosses the south boundary of the county; thence east along the county line to its intersection with the L. A. & S. L. R.
