Show DAN CUPID PLAYS PART IN WEDDING CEREMONY Daniel Cupid was instrumental yesterday yes-terday in carrying out his design in joining two prominent citizens of the valley in the holy bonds of wedlock, and the marriage, coming as a surprise, sur-prise, is met with joy among the many friends. Ole Larson, prominent in agricultural pursuits, and Annie Sorenson, well known matron of Ax-tell, Ax-tell, went to Manti yesterday morning morn-ing and after visiting the county clerk'B office, where the necessary license was secured, invoked the services ser-vices of Ernell Mortensen, who performed per-formed the ceremony in the presence of a few intimate friends. Both Mr. and Mrs. Larson are widely and popularly known, having made the valley their homes for many years, and they have hosts of warm friends who will wish them happiness and prosperity on their matrimonial voyage. Mr. and Mrs. Larson were special guests at a family wedding reception and supper at the Larson home on East First South street Wednesday evening. Miss Mabel Larsen, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. Larsen, presided over the dinner, and was assisted by Misses Elva Fpote and Ruth Larson. A pink and white color scheme was carried out in the table decorations and favors fav-ors were carried out in the same colorings. Thirty-five guests were seated at the dinner table. |
