Show Several gentlemen from Ogden j were at tho mask ball, Thursday i night. Ye5terday, P. P. Siggard, one of the enterprising fruit growers of the Second ward, presented Tuk Bt'OLKK office with a basket of choico winter apples. The gentleman gentle-man raised some 200 bushels last season. no now has over 100 bushels on hand, having disposed of half of his big crop. There was a masquerade ball given in town Thursday ovenir.g. The attendance was light, only aWit thirty couples participating; eighteen masked and twelve un- j masked. The music by the Christ j ensen Bros. Orchestra was first j classs asusual. Some of thecharac- tera were well represented. ' |
