I I 1 Mr. and Mrs. Swan Peterson, former for-mer well known Gunnison residents, came in from their home at Drum-mond, Drum-mond, Ida., and are guests of relatives j here. White, representing- the Tel-luride Tel-luride Power company.is here from his home at Richfield, and is installing electrical devices that will modernize the Roylance Bakery & Cafe. Mrs. Paul Streeper of Salt Lake, is here and is the guest at the borne of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. CP. Jensen. Miss Helen Hagan, of the Wasatch academy, spent the week-end visiting with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan. Miss Josie Curtis of the Presbyterian Presbyter-ian church in Gunnison, returned Fri-dy Fri-dy after spending several days at Salt Lake. Miss Curtis was accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Mary McCallum of Salina on her visit to the capitol city. Fred H. Jones, manager for the J. C. Penney company store in Gunnison, motored to Salt Lake Tuesday. Mr. Jones was called to the city on im-, portant business matters. E. C. Willardson of Ephraim, is spending the week in Gunnison and is the guest at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. D. Beauregard. '" & 9 Mr and Mrs. C. A. Peterson were northbound travelers Monday, their destination being Salt Lake. While in .the city, Mr. Peterson will consult with specialists. Mrs. Swan Peterson, who is visiting here from her home in Idaho, was hostess at a bridge party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Kearns Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Twelve guests were bidden to the party. Ira Overfelt, cashier and vice-president for the Gunnison Valley bank, was looking after important business matters at Salt Lake Thursday and Friday of last week. |
