Show BROTHERHOOD SEVERJHELATIDN LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEERS DECLARE DE-CLARE WORKING AGREEMENT TO BE BROKEN First Friction Between The Two Organizations was Manifested Last February ClevelandThe Brotherhood of Locomotive Lo-comotive Engineers and the Brotherhood Brother-hood of Locomotive Engineman and Firemen have abrogated their working agreement, which has been in effect for fifteen years, the triennial convention conven-tion of the Brotherhood of Locomtive I Engineers decided Friday. Action severs all coordinate action of the two j organizations and leaders pointed out there is possibility for friction which marked relations of the two organizations organiza-tions prior to 1913. Negotiations will get under way at once, leaders said, i for the definite wiping out of all agree- ment through which wage negotiations negotia-tions and working agreements by the two organizations were carried out with railroads. Decision to abrogate the agreement, H. E. Wills, Washington, assistant grand chief engineer of the engineers, said, was due to terms of the pact covering mileage to be made by members. |
