Show Watersheds Filled With Deep Snows On January 2, 3, J and 5, Ranger Tursby, Elwod Anderson and Blain Thompson, of the Manti National for-e-;t offices at Ephraim, made a trip of investigation to Scely Creek Ranger station, according to advices from the headquarters at Ephraim, for the purpose pur-pose of making repairs to the telephone tele-phone lines and to take measurements measure-ments of snow at the three stations, and gave highly encouraging reports s to the snow in the watersheds in the mountains to the east. The report submitted shows 44 inches of snow at the Experiment station. sta-tion. This has a water content of K.80 inches. At the Alpine station the n noit shows 51 inches of snow with a water content of 11 inches, while at Seely Creek the depth of the snow is inches with a water content of 9 inches. On January 5 and G Ranger Oiler-tun Oiler-tun made a trip to the Mammoth station to measure the snow. He reports re-ports 1! inrhes in Gooseberry with a .valor content of 10.35 inches.
