Show Local News Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Porter of Salina, were Gunnison visitors Tuesday afternoon after-noon of this week. Patrick T. Henry has returned from a brief visit to Marysvale. He spent several days at the camp looking after his mining interests. Miss Evelyn Fjeldsted, who has been in Salt Lake for the past six week taking special treatment, has returned to her home in Gunnison. Mr. and Mrs. John Gribble of Salina, spent last Tuesday here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gribble ' and .Mr. and Mrs. William Perkins. Mrs.JJ. E. Larsen, who has been in Salt Lake for the past two weeks or more, visiting with friends and relatives, has returned to her hone in Gunnison. A. M. Peterson and his mother, Mrs. C. M. Peterson, returned Monday from a visit to southern points. They visited in Richfield and Millard county towns: Mr. and Mrs. Peter A, Jensen of Salt Lake City, are in Gunnison and are the guests at the home of Michael Jensen. They will remain here for an indefinite visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Mulford and son, who were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Christensen for several days, returned re-turned to thier home in Wayne county last Friday. Miss Lois Myrup, who was here for a few days visiting with her mother, returned to Salt Lake the early part of this week. Miss Myrup is attending school at the state capitol. I Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ferre, who have been residing in Salt Lake City for the past eight months, returned to Gunnison ast Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ferre will remain here for the winter. Mrs. June Metcalf was hostess at a dinner party last Friday night to a few of her friends. A unique feature of the dinner was the table decorations. decora-tions. The center piece was a cluster of fruits and grapes were spread attractively from the center. Favors were nuts in baskets. Covers were laid for eight and following dinner Progressivs Five Hundred was played. Honors at cards went to Mrs. Dennis Beauregard and Mrs. C. N. Jensen. |
