Fortune has been extremely kind to him since he first hung out bis shingle, and he is rapidly acquiring fame, fortune aud a future. He graduated grad-uated from a law office which made a specialty of probate cases, and Ins first clients were those remembered in some of the wills his patrons had carried through the probate court. The young lawyer was in it from the start and his phenomenal rise was the subject -of comment. "Tell me," inquired the lounger, "to what do you attribute your unusual success?"
