County Court met Oct. 7tli. I'l-osenl, .Juilxe Kirk and Selectmen Select-men Eaty, Blackburn and Wilcox. Petition of Win. Audci'Hon and others asking for tli'o division of Portage school district was taken up, the petition having heen deferred defer-red to await a remonstrance. No such remonstrance was filed and the district was divided, the Malad River being Ibe division line. Moneys due said portion ofdi vision shall be paid to trustees appointed 1,, iw, n,,vf P. L. Andersen asked that bridge be built across the creek north of Conor's Springs. Request granted and road supervisor instructed to build the bridge. A. and Wm. Rose, of George Creek, were awarded contract to build a bridge on each of the sloughs west of Lake station, for $30 each, to be approved by road com mittee. Committee reported that the approaches ap-proaches to the Malad bridge are completed. Report adopted and bill of supervisor approved. CLAIMS ALLOWED. C. W. and E. Co. to put in a switch west of Brig-ham. Brig-ham. Judge Kirk appointed. The Judge was instructed to have six sixteen candle power electric lights placed in upper room and see that all users of said room hereafter be charged $1 rental each night to cover janitor, light and fuel fees. Motion was made ordering first payment of the water rate for first six months. It was ordered that road on west side of Malad River from Washakie Washa-kie to Corinne be opened with few slight changes and that Plymouth supervisor, under Mr. Wilcox's instructions, prosecute the work. |
