Show IDEA 10R BRIGHAM MERCHANTS. The country merchants, says an I exchange, can have their evening-, ; to themselves jut as well as not:; just as well as the city merchants do. They would not lose a dollar, a year if they would all close up at j seven, with the exception, say, of! Satuiday night. The only men j who would be incommoded would be the "settlers," the store loafers; and it would bi; a God send to them, and may be to their families, to drive them home. Country merchants can. just as W'U as not. and for their own good they should close thir stores not later than seven o'clock in the evening. |
