Paddy O'Connor, veteran catcher, released re-leased from his managerial duties with the Albany club of the Eastern league, did not take long to catch on. He bus been signed as Hartford manager to succeed Jack Coffey. The success O'Connor had with Albany was not marked, but he did not have much to work with, and he has this much in his favor: He knows the Eastern league and should get better results nt Hartford than a stranger In the league can. Jack Coffey's plans for the 1923 season are not made known. He may return to the Middle West. |
