Show Angel of Death - Calls Little Baby Marsden Lloyd Gribble, the 19-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Marsden Gribble, after making a gallant fight for life, passed peacefully peace-fully away to the unknown Tuesday afternoon at the home of his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gribble. Little Marsden was -stricken, some three weeks ago with cholera infantum, infant-um, and later spinal meningitis developed. de-veloped. Everything known to medical med-ical science was employed and the devoted parents and relatives left nothing undone to relieve the suffering, suffer-ing, but without avail and the angel of death claimed the little soul. Little Marsden was one of the two twins born March 5th, 1921. After living one week the little' brother died. Through care and faithful nursing Marsden was started out- in life and though not strong., great hopes were held for his future health. The recent attack, however, proved j too much and the little body weak-i cned by severe illness, could not combat com-bat the disease and it passed away peacefully in the presence of the! parents and close relatives. j The announcement of the death of the baby has cast a deep gloom overi the entire community. Marsden was t known by many and those who knew him loved him dearly. The grief stricken parents have the profound sympathy of all in their sad bereavement. be-reavement. Funeral services are being held this afternoon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gribble. j |
