Bishop Jensen, of Bear River City, was in town, Tuesda'. lie informed a Buxu.isit representative that the grain yield in the vicinity of that place never equalled that of this year. Six headers have been running constantly in the fields for the past two weeks. They cut some thirty acres a day, each of which yields, on an average, twenty five bushels. Two years ago the total grain crop amounted to 37, 000 bushels, but this year it will swell to probably 60,000 or nearly double that of 1800. This is all dry farming land. |
