Show Testimonial For j Miss Lundebergl Miss Erma Lundherg who is to leave j for the eastern states about the firs, of January where she wiil do mission- j ary work for the L. 1). S. churi'n was tendered a testimonial at the Gunnison Gunni-son Valley high school auditorium last Friday night. From a social standpoint as well as financial the affair proved one of the most successful ever given in the valley. Nearly 2(10 friends were present and enjoyed an evening of games, dancing and other amusements, j An interesting program was given and the numbers were a. reading by Mis. j J. W. Jones. Mrs. Jones used as her subject "Home" by Edgar A. Gue.-.t. A quartet, composed ol Bishop s,valbei g. Ernest Ualverson, Bert Biglcr and C. C. Edmonds gave a number of soke lions. C. C. Edmonds gave a talk o "What a Missionary May Expect ' Miss Lundherg, the guest of honor, re spondccl and heartily thanked those present for the royal testimony given. Proceeding the program games, in which both young and old participated, were enjoyed and everybody had a good time. Several dances were enjoyed and then the guests were invited lo the domestic do-mestic science room where refreshments refresh-ments of cake and punch were solved ' in cafeteria stylo.
