Show NO ROOM FOR PACIFISTS. Secretary Redfield Declares We Muct Now Fight for Peace. St. Louis. William C. Redfield, secretary sec-retary of commerce, on Monday declared de-clared that this country has no room for Hie pacifist, for he must realize that he must fight now for peace ; ami ! for the Socialists, who should see j Ideals of brotherhood embodied in the ' nation's cause ; but that it has no room for the pessimist or the man who deals with public affairs from the standpoint of the "knocker." In an address to members of the chamber of commerce, Secretary Red-field, Red-field, who is en route to Seattle, warned against German propaganda, -and asserted that tales of the inefficiency ineffi-ciency of the new Liberty motor for airplanes form an example of this Insidious In-sidious propaganda. He declared tho motor is the most powerful of its kind ever invented, and manufacture of it is going ahead rapidly, as is also the manufacture of all airplane parts. |
