' death, and a oOD horse stretched i ! lead on the ground is the result of i j a false fire alarm wrung Saturday I evening during an out-door political politic-al 'meeting. When the hose cart came up the street it frightened the team Leo Jensen, son of J. M. Jensen, was driving. The horses wheeled round, brota the carriage tongue and dashed down Main Street, throwing the lad out near Samuel Smith's place. Two blocks north of the Court House the team crashed into a tree, instantly killing one of the horses. Mr. Jensen had recently refused $o00 for the horse. It was a pet and its death caused great sorrow in thp family. These practical practic-al jokers wont think it is so much fun if they are found out and made Ui pa y damages. |
