Bulk of American Troops Going t Italy Will Be Sent from France, Their Places Being Filled by New Regiments from United States. Washington. The safe arrival In Italy of the first contingent of military force which will represent the United States, was announced June 29 by General Gen-eral March, chief of staff. Sent direct I from this country, the troops landed on June 28, to supplement others ordered order-ed from France by General Pershing. Sanitary units compose the greater part of the first arrivals, but "other special units" also were Included.
