A very spirited Liberty loan meeting meet-ing was held at Centerfield last, Friday Fri-day night. Addresses were made by John S. liardsley and William Richardson. Rich-ardson. Mrs. Clarence Tree recited "A Soldiei 's Mother," and a song was given by M iss Eva Jensen. Enthusiasm Enthusi-asm was uppermost and a hearty pledge given to sustain every future issue of Liberty loan to the utmost. The public school put on a dance last Friday night and by this means raised sufficient money to seltle what dues were on the victrolo purchased a short time back by the school. The Infant girl of Hans K. Hansen, born April 25 lived a short time only and was buried last Saturday, funeral service Deing held at the residence. This makes the fifth child of Mr. Hansen's to die similar)' in infancy, all of them now burled in Centerfield cemetery. William LeRoy, the 1-month-old child of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Caldwell died of heart weakness April 26. Funeral Fu-neral was held from the residence at noon last Sunday, service conducted by Bishop Carl Kielson of Axtell. Interment In-terment was In the cemetery at Gunnison. Gun-nison. Funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, from the residence, for Beatrice Beck who died after a lingering linger-ing II Iness of the lungs A pril 24. All that skill and loving hands could do was exercised in her behalf.' She was in her 18th year, amiable in disposition disposi-tion and had led an exemplary life. Deepest sympathy is felt for the bereaved be-reaved parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Beck, who on other account have been kept In quarantine nearly all winter, their son Floyd who is employed at the bank in Gunnison getting only just recently released. The speakers at the funeral of Miss Beck were Brig- ham Jensen, Charles IT. Embley and Bishop A. C. Fjeldsted. A large concourse con-course followed the remains to the place of burial in Centerfield cemetery. ceme-tery.
