Show XMAS AT THE CHAPEL. The little folks connected with the Presbvterlan chapel had an enjoyable time last Friday niglit Xmas eve. The chapel was richly decorated In Christmas colors and the arrangement arrange-ment lent a cheerful air to the occasion. occa-sion. The program was composed first of Scriptural reading and responses re-sponses suited more to tht elderly,' followed by a series of songs, recitations recita-tions and dialogs by the little folks in true Christmas spirit. Special mention men-tion is deserving the closing song "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear," Miss Virginia Peterson with beautiful beauti-ful effect singing in solo as prelude to each stanza"While Shepherds Watch Their Flocks by Night." The climax, of course, was good old Santa Clans, who apperaed in winter costume and gave gilts to the children child-ren as well as some of the parents. Miss Curtis and aids are to be commended com-mended for their interest in the little folks and especially for the splendid time which they provided for the Christmas eve entertainment of the children in their charge. |
