Show LOCAL RED CROSS Over 100 memberships have been received during the recent renewnl drive. The old roll had 165 names, but some of these have left town. It is hopedthat the renewals will reach 100 per cent. Those who hsve helped so splendidly splendid-ly in bandage work are showing the true Red Cross spirit when they lend their energies toward helping prepare pre-pare the special allotment of bed shirts and knitted goods, which must be ready by August 20. Axtell aux illary has its allotment of bed shirts completed, Fayette very nearly, while Mayfield, Centerfield and Uunnison have theirs almost ready. Now the rest comes In knitting, but already a large number are working work-ing at that. Plenty of yarn has been secured. Those locally desiring to help will find yarn and directions at Mrs. Albert Swain's. Workers at Centerfield and other units should applv to the various Red Cross chairmen chair-men for work. It Is expected that the full allotment will be completed before the time set.
