Show A Temperance Treat. Last night at the R. S. Kail was given an entertainment of tare merit, it was under t he auspices of the local Prohibition le:igue by courtesy of Rev. C.H- Hamilton, who had secured from a temperance society the use of lauteru and slides illustrating the lecture he gave on that subject. The e-jtertainmeut was highly instructive, showing compansous of conclusive proof that liquor causes au expenditure expendi-ture nf mouey that exceeds enormously enorm-ously the uei.ded commodities besides be-sides beiuga most powerful evil. Interspersing the lecture a baud of little boys, waving temperance ban uers. gave a pretty exercise that pleaded iu coucert: ' Vote For Us 1" And the boys spoke out valiantly in that plea. Surely it will uot be uu-heeded uu-heeded next Tuesday by fathers aud mothers at the polls. Auotber feature of the entertaiu meut was tbe siuging of two temperance temper-ance quai ti-ts. b N.
