Show death calls ole simonsen. Peacefully at his home in Gunnison yesterday, Feb. 19, Ole Simonsen succumbed suc-cumbed to heart failure superinduced by a recent attack of lagrippe, aged nearly 73 years. Born May 12, 1841, in Tjevby, Denmark, Den-mark, Ole Simonsen married eventually eventu-ally Anna M. Rasmussen, and born to them were twelve children. Surviving Surviv-ing is the widow and four of the children, chil-dren, Neils J. and August of Gunnison, Gunni-son, Alfred, and C. Mauris of Salt Lake. Decedent with a portion of his family emigrated to Utah 14 years ago and from that time has resided in Gunnison, where the eldest son had come prior and provided a home. .For two years past Ole Simonsen and wife had been engaged at temple work in Manti, giving vicarious sex-vice sex-vice in those ordinances for several hundred of their dead relatives. Deceased De-ceased was in life a man of high integrity, in-tegrity, congenial in his intercourse and had many friends among those of his nationality, to whom his association associa-tion alniost wholly was confined because be-cause of not being able to acquire but slightly the English.tongue. Funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24. The hour of service will be announced, an-nounced, later. |
