She will return home tomorrow. Mrs. Pierce is in ber seventy third year and during htr visit here has had the privilege of meeting in reunion with all of her . nine children, one of whom is B. H. Candland and others of the state land board were in Gunnison Wednesday and held an investigation over a damage claim filed against the land board by West-view West-view farmers, who allege they were deprived of water in proper Reason last Bprang owing to the State's canal flow of water cutting off the Westyiew canal supply where the two ditches cross. The investigation took the form of a court procedure , District Attorney J. W. Cherry in behalf of the state attorney being counsel for the land board, and Judge A. N. Cherry couducting the olaimants' case. The state land board will consider con-sider the evidence and act ou the qase at an early meeting in its office at Salt Lake. |
