Show Mother of Parley Sorenson ""Falls Dead In the Street. The body of Mrs. Hannah Sorenson Soren-son was late in the afternoon of yesterday discovered lying in the dry ditch by the sidewalk just across the road north from the relief hall. When discovered by Councilman John M. Knighton, Mrs. Sorenson's body was prostrate in the ditch, with her face buried in the enow, evidently having fallen there wiiile in a fit on 1 her way home from the postoffice, a letter being in her hand. The snow about her head was melted, but there was no Bign of any struggle having taken place. Mr. Knighton reported the matter at once to Mayor Christeuson and County Commissioner Madsen. The body was takeu home and the facts reported to Judge Christensoa at Manti and the county attorney. An inquest will not be necessary in the caBe. Mrs. SorenBon who was weak minded mind-ed and lived alone, was subject to fits for several years. Her only eon and former support is in the meutal hospital at Provo, but an effort will be made to permit his presence at the funeral of his mother Sunday or Monday. |
