Show 5 CENTERFIELD. f A Democratic rally was held here Tuesday evening. Cyrille Anderson is nursing a fractured leg, caused through jumping jump-ing while at play. The Mutuals of Centerfield have leased the opera house here for a period of six months and last night endeavored to put on their first dance. A little pastime was indulged playing play-ing basket ball, by Centerfield and Axtell teams. Alonzo Jensen, a young man residing resid-ing at Axtell and who three years ago met with an acpident that necessitated necessi-tated the amputation of one of his legs, was last week chopping w.ood and accidently cut a big gash in his foot. He was taken to the Salina hospital for treatment, aud is said to be doing nicely. Born to the wife of H. K. Hansen, a daughter on the 27th. The infant lived only one day and was buried the next. The parents have the deepest sympathy of the community, this being their third child arid each have died in infancy. Bishop A. C. Fjeldsted visited in Ephraim on Saturday and Sunday last, having business as a director of the bank there at a meeting on Saturday. Charles Bosshardt is visiting at home here, from Howe, Idaho, where he has been employed the past year. |
