Show CENTERFIELD. Ju:y25. ' Pioneer day was celebrated in fine shape by Centerfield, The weather and roads were ideal for the parade, which formed from the meetinghouse at 9 o'clock under the direction of Marshals E. H. Bardsley and Albert Larson. The floats were all beautiful and appropriate, among the main features being Utah represented bj Vada Anderson An-derson and Bctay Rcss by Dora Beck. Uncle Sim was represented by Hubert. Chiids. j. xi. CHrasiey was master 01 ceremonies over the exercises rendered render-ed in the meetinghouse at 10:15 a,m I The oration was delivered by Prof.D. H. Robinson of Manti and among the choice numbers rendered was the singing of "Valley Home" by Rauda phristiansen and Leah Myrup, with chorus by the choir. The amusements after took the form of a children's dance in the opera house and a variety of outdoor sports. Everything went off with a vim, and all is deservibg of praise.
