Show WILLIAM METCALF HEADS GOOD GOVERNMENT TICKET. Pronounced Drys, All Substantial Citizens. Selected on Entire Ticket. The Good Government party of Gunnison held its nominating convention con-vention in the R. S. hall last night, with an excellent attendance and spirited proceeding. L,H. Childa was elected permanent chairman of the party and Erick Roscuvall secretary, with an additional addition-al number of ten comprising the campaign committee for the forthcoming forth-coming municipal election. A platform was adopted, reaffirming the statements and pledges expressed by the party two years ago that, in the event of election its officers will give "a business like and economical administration of the city's funds, with the ultimate purpose in view at all times, of liquidating at the earliest possible date the city's present indebtedness." in-debtedness." It further pledges "a strict enforcement of the laws governing govern-ing the traffic in liquur as a beverage," and the restricting of the management and control of pool halls in the city. Each of the nominees also personally personal-ly pledged himself in unmistakable terms to abide by the platform that had been adopted by the convention.
