Show I A l.Uip SliiHT. ! A Sletgliluf Outfit IV li "Krluffs Down tliv Hoiisu." ! Brigham boasts a good man v j curious looking sleighing outlits j these days, but one which appeared ,o: the streets the other day knock-j knock-j e I all others into a cocked hat. A j big fat man, a two hundred potind-I potind-I er, sat on a low, broad, home-made hand sled with his feet dangling over in front. This baby bob was attached by a rope to the tail of a modest looking horse which had long since lost all signs of dignity. The union 01" the short rope and the horse's tail formed the tugs to draw the outfit. The animal was guided by long lines on either side which ran back to the driver, who drove up and down the streets as unconcerned and indifferent to the immense amount of attention he attracted, as some life-long freak in a dime museum. The picture was decidedly decided-ly refreshing and brought forth yells of hilarity from the hundreds of pedestrians who stopped and turned round to feast their eyes on the unique sight. |
