Show Death of Jflrs. Gee. Fayette parts with another of her aged ones in the death of Mrs. Mary Ann Walsom Gee which occurred Tuesday the 24, in her seventy iifth year. Her funeral was held from the Fayette meetinghouse yesterday and her remains laid to rest in the local cemetery there. Appropriate singing sing-ing was rendered and the following named spoke: James Mellor, G. M. Bartholomew, Philip Dack, Erick Olson, Roy D. Mellor and Bishop John Bartholomew, Mrs. Gee was a native of England, born in Lester on May 24, 1838. She emigrated lo Utah in 1864 and came to Fayette five years later. She was the mother of eight children, five of whom, 3 sons and 2 daughters survive sur-vive and except one of the daughters reside ia, .Fayette. Mrs. Gee was a stsadfast adherent of the Mormon faith. |
