Show STORM ON JAPANESE COAST. Several Hundred Lives Lost and Many Ships Destroyed. Seattle, Wash. Details of the great storm on the Japanese coast on June 20 were brought by the steamship Kumeric, which arrived Monday from the Orient. Several hundred lives were lost and many ships were destroyed. de-stroyed. A tidal wave swept the port of Osa- j ka, where the waiter rose five feet, and the Miye Mam was washed ashore.
