Show The Gunnison Owls. Naturalists tell us that the owls are not gregarious in their habits, but are usually found solitary and alone in the gloomy forests. This, however, is not the case with the variety of '-birds" which took possession of the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Kearns, Tuesday evening even-ing last, where they played five hundred, hun-dred, consumed an elegant lunch and fectsted on the smiles and the bright eyes that graoed the festive board. Mr. aud Mrs. Rasmusson perched upon the topmost branches with both first prizes in their cluolh, while Mr and Mrs. E. B. Kearns were content to rooBt upon the ground, with the consolation that "luck was against them." Miss Miller of Richfield and Mrs. Gerard of Colorado wera gue9ts of the club, and they added much to the life of the evening. All the members were piesent .except .ex-cept Mr. and Mrs. Neil Soreuson. |
