Show Relief Society House Dedicated, at Fayette. The dedidation of the Fayette Ra-lief Ra-lief Society house, the erea.tiou of which was begun twely-six years ago, tooii pluce at noon Sunday last, December De-cember 11, 1910. Presidents Anderson Ander-son and Shomakerof the stake presidency presi-dency were present on the occasion, the former offering the dedicatory drayer. Mrs. E. R. Bartholomew, who is president of the organization, conducted conduc-ted the ceremonies. Following the opening exercises and preceding the dedication by Preat. Lewis Anderson, a pketch was given , by Vice President Selena Bartholomew relating data connectsd with She building. The main points in h6r paper follow : The year 1884 marked the commencement com-mencement of the structure, the walls being laid that year up to the square. Work, was then suspended and not' resumed until 1895, when the walls were, complered and the building covered, the Bisters haviug saved up means for that purpose and were aided aid-ed by their husbands aad sous in the way of labor. Then, with the understanding under-standing it should be used a term of ten years for school purposes, free of charge, the lower room was . finished by contributions from the men. The sistsrs completed the second story arpom in 1902 and rented it to the school board for school purpose, thus converting both , rooms to school use. The building is no longer used for school purpose and has the, past sum mer been, rempdled, the ground floor serving room in which to store grain and the upper room divided in two compartments, one for assembly use and (he oteer a useful anti-room. Tke . floor of the assembly room is nicely carpeted and the wall adorned with curtains and appropriate pictures At the close of the exercises a dainty lunoheon was served, when the assembly repaired to the meeting house for ward service.
