A conference. of the Gunnison ward was held last Sunday at the regular hour of sacrament service. President Ezra Shomaker of the stake presidency presiden-cy was assisted in the function by N. C. Christensen of the high council, who delivered a very interesting discourse dis-course mainly on the systematic procedure pro-cedure followed by the "Mormon" church and by which the standing of the member is known to the general authorities. President Shomaker, after a report from Bishop Rasmussen of the ward's welfare and himself offering commendatory commen-datory remarks, presented the general and, stake authorities for action "of the conference, and in this connection the following were sustained as the bishopric and officers of the Gunnison, ward and its auxiliary organizations: James Rasmussen, bishoR; Joseph A.
