Show Taken at Point of Bayonet. New York. A dispatch from German Ger-man offical sources in Berlin was received re-ceived here via Sayville, L. 1., wireless station, as follows: "The Seventh French army corps and an army division di-vision from Belfort, which had invaded in-vaded upper Alsace, were defeated Saturday by German troops near Mul-hausen." Mul-hausen." The dispatch, somewhat mutilated mu-tilated by poor transmission, indicated that French intrenchments were taken at tile point of the bayonet. |
