Show A HE entertainment committee of the Country club has arranged regular Wednesday evening dinners and dances, in addition to the Wednesday Wed-nesday lunches and the Saturday evening dinner dances. MubIc is furnished fur-nished by the McCool orchestra, both Wednesday and Saturday. TNOUNCEMENT is made by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Marion Cross of Merceed, Cal., of the engagement of their daughter, Helen Angeline, to Julian Young Burton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Burton of this city. The wedding will take place in the fall. Miss Cross formerly resided in San Francisco. She is a graduate of Stanford university, class of 1918, and is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is also a former student of Mills college. Burton is also a Stanfordite and a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Recently Recent-ly he returned from overseas, where he spent two years in service with the Stanford ambulance unit. MRS. W. Edward Fife was the hos-at hos-at tea Monday afternoon in her beautiful new home on East South Temple street, between the nours of 4 and 6 o'clock. June loses decorated the rooms. About 100 called during the afternoon. MR. and Mrs. Guy Bolognese announce an-nounce the engagement of their daughter Janette to Mark Pitt Ingalls. The wedding will take place the latter part of June. |
